Day 46: Trust the experts

So a friend on Facebook shared this op-ed from the New York Times, which contained this blisteringly stupid message in the subhead: "The solution isn’t to try to think more carefully. It’s to trust the experts." That's right, after months of hearing that we should stop thinking for ourselves and just "trust the experts," someone is saying it outright.

But it gets worse. Oh, it gets so much worse. I couldn't believe someone actually put this in a New York Times column, so I went to look it up. Guess when it was written? February 11, 2020. Yes, this column telling us to "trust the experts" was written back when these "experts" were telling us things like: "For most of us, the seasonal flu, which has killed as many as 25,000 people in the United States in just a few months, presents a much greater threat than does the coronavirus" or "Throughout the United States, there’s been a rush on face masks (most of which won’t help against the virus)."

That's right, everybody — don't think for yourself and go out and wear a mask. Trust the experts! Naturally, it's easy to dump on someone being this wrong, but consider for a moment that we're still being told to "trust the experts" on everything from the coronavirus to climate change over and over, neglecting to consider that the experts have often been wrong. And when it's your job, your business, and your livelihood that's relying on these "experts," who suffer no meaningful consequences for being wrong, maybe it's better to just go with your "gut."

Day 45: 11 year old hackers

From PBS — An 11-year-old changed election results on a replica Florida state website in under 10 minutes. Naturally, this was published BEFORE or AFTER the 2020 election. Nobody would dare report it now that DRUMPF has lost.

But I'm sure in 1414 days, it will be different.

Day 38: Overall Mortality

So the number of people who have died from Covid keeps growing, but the total number of deaths in 2020 is on track to be no different or actually lower than in years past. Isn't that odd?

Despite the virus, US deaths this year are literally no worse than they've been for the last 10, and may even be on track to go DOWN.

Day 34: Journalism dies in darkness

Now that Election Day has safely come and gone, the media now feel it's safe to report that Hunter Biden is being criminally investigate for his business activties in China — a story that was outright banned on social media before Election Day and some outfits even blamed on the Russians. This is why nobody trusts the media — and nobody should. They will never report the truth so long as it hurts their allies on the left.

Glenn Greenwald catalogs much of this, but here's one particularly damning clip from Christiane Amanpour on CNN simply refusing to talk about the story.

Day 33: The Streisand Effect

The best way to convince the American people that the election was rigged is to have giant corporations censor anyone who dares to talk about it. Some might call it the Law of Unintended Consequences, or the "Streisand Effect." For those unfamiliar, Barbara Streisand sued a photo for "invasion of privacy" when he took an aerial photograph that included a view of her house. Because of the suit, far more people became aware of the photo than would have if she'd just left matters alone.

The social media giants have tried to convince the public this election was legit by posting labels and notices all over the place, but apparently it hasn't worked, so now they're going to have to resort to just banning any discussion of it outright. And it won't work, of course — discussion will simply move to other sympathetic venues, where it will continue with far less chances of being challenged.

Day 32: Thanksgiving bad, protests good.

Nobody is taking Covid seriously at this point, and it's because of double standards like these. Have Thanksgiving with your family? You'll get shamed by "Dr. Karb" here on Twitter.

Last night, one of my (many) patients with COVID told me she had a large Thanksgiving dinner with family—22 people. The day after, one family member tested positive. Since then (according to my patient) *ALL* 22 people have developed symptoms, some severe.

The same people pushing for a “New Normal” are the same people who think this is “Normal”.

Day 29: Taking things seriously

There's a reason people don't take lockdowns seriously — it's because the ones putting them in place don't take them seriously.

Day 28: Under the table

There have been many accusations of voter fraud over the past couple of weeks, but this instance caught on video seems to be everywhere right now. In this video, footage of State Farm Arena in Atlanta seems to show that after poll monitors and media were told counting was done, four workers stayed behind to count ballots, pulling out suitcases containing ballots from underneath desks.

The video was enough to get a response from the Republican Governor of Georgia, who until now has been fairly lukewarm on allegations of voter fraud.

"I think, especially with what we saw today, it raises more questions. There needs to be transparency on that. I would again call for [a signature audit], and I think in the next 24 hours hopefully we'll see a lot more from the hearings that the legislature had today and we'll be able to look and see what the next steps are."

What boggles my mind is that the left will say this has been "debunked repeatedly" with no further discussion. And yet, you can watch the video for yourself. What's the explanation?

Days 20-27: Thanksgiving Break

Over Thanksgiving weekend, which was filled with family fun, food, decorating the house for Christmas, and a trip to buy a Christmas tree, I came to the conclusion that I probably won't be able to have an update for this blog every day for the next four years. And that's OK — I don't know if anyone is reading this anyway.

What I will do, however, is try to chronicle what appear to be important moments between now and election day 2024 (just 1431 days away), particularly items relating to voter fraud. I still believe that Biden was elected legitimately (albeit narrowly), but there are some very questionable things that happened on election day that deserve answers. I don't think we're going to get any, of course, but simply being able to document those things will perhaps leave a trail for people to look back on over the next four years and say, "Hey, I remember that — it sure seemed fishy at the time."

I may also bring up examples such as this map below, which is supposedly the real electoral map obtain from the Dominion servers the U.S. military retrieved during a raid in Frankfurt, Germany. Yes, I believe there were some shenanigans in the elections, but no way am I going to believe Trump won California.
